I joined Blue Skies Education in 2026, bringing over 10 years of recruitment experience specialising in SEND and Primary education. Throughout my career, I have developed a strong understanding of the unique needs of schools, settings, and professionals within the SEND sector, and I’m passionate about connecting talented candidates with rewarding opportunities where they can make a real difference.
I enjoy building long-lasting relationships with both schools and candidates, taking the time to understand their individual requirements and providing a personalised, supportive recruitment experience. Whether working with mainstream schools or specialist SEND provisions, my focus is on creating successful, lasting partnerships that have a positive impact on both educators and the children they support.

I have been working in Finance roles since 1998 and for Juhler Group companies since 2013 and have over 10 years experience with processing weekly temporary workers payroll. I enjoy a spreadsheet more than what would be considered normal.

I have been working within the education recruitment sector for the past 2 years, specialising in connecting schools and candidates within East London. I have dedicated myself to understanding the unique needs and requirements of both schools and aspiring educators in this vibrant region. I am passionate about facilitating successful matches that enhance educational outcomes and career satisfaction. I joined Education World in September 2019 as Compliance Officer, working on the clearance of our Teachers, TAs and Support Staff. I began my career in recruitment in the industrial and commercial sector while obtaining my Level 2 NVQ in Business Administration. After completing my apprenticeship in 2017, I moved into education recruitment where I started working in compliance.

Since joining Education World, I have watched our company grow from strength to strength. It’s a real privilege to be part of such a dedicated and hardworking team, committed to finding the right partnerships for our staff and schools. 

In 2024, I was thrilled to be promoted to Compliance Team Leader, now looking after compliance for our Education and Industrial sectors. I am so pleased to be working with both of these teams, ensuring compliance is at the highest standard and our processes within our organisation are streamlined.

Hiya, I'm Jem. I joined Education World as a Compliance Officer after working as a Principal Recruitment Consultant for nearly 3 years supporting multiple clients across SEN, PRI and EYFS sectors. Coming from a recruitment role has given me the ability to merge into the Compliance team here at Education World without a hiccup and I am thrilled to be an integral part of a candidates journey and support them in being cleared for work so our consultants can place them with one of our brilliant schools across the UK. I work with both UK-based and overseas candidates, offering friendly, tailored support from our first chat right through to aftercare once you’re settled into your new role. And if you’re ever looking to break the ice, I’m a big Newcastle United fan, so I’m always up for a bit of football chat.
